Monroe Kiwanis Work Weekend Update

The 45th Annual Kiwanis Work Weekend - Canyon Camp, B.S.A. will not take place for the Weekend of May 2nd and 3rd.

The health and safety of our Kiwanis members, Scouting families, volunteers, staff, friends of Canyon Camp, and each of their family members remain our number one priority for us here at Canyon Camp.

In this spirit and given the unprecedented circumstances related to COVID-19, and by Illinois’s Governor Pritzker’s extended stay at home order until April 30, 2020 please note this event will not be hosted as originally planned. Please know that the projects at camp will await our return and our camaraderie will be enjoyed by all when we meet again, hopefully very soon. When we are given the “green light” to return to camp there will be projects to complete and we will reach out for cheerful service and assistance to complete these tasks. Additionally, please know that your volunteerism and support are always greatly appreciated. You are so very important in our success and we look forward to working with all of you soon. Stay safe as we do our best to carry on with our mission of providing for the youth of our movement. In good Scouting, Lee Binkley and Dick Reynolds Canyon Camp Co-Camp Directors
